 I think we can all agree on 1 thing, we want control over the things in our lives that most matter.  If you are a communist you should have the right to live in a place that will most  be for your thinking.  However  I would greatly disagree with the whole country changing to fill your needs.  In fact the Constitution allows for that.  It is not a living document but should be taken for exactly what it says.  One state could run itself just how the voters want it to.  That means if they all, (a majority) want to have things handed to them and have a controlling governing body look after everything for them they could elect those that offer that.  However that does not nullify the Bill of Rights or the Constitution.  Elections would be held every time on time and properly and if someone wanted to move they simply do that.  There are rights that are given to use through just being born and the federal government should only do so much.  One of the things would be to keep anyone living here from being striped of the rights they have.  Not to name or number those and not to limit them or turn them into State given or federally granted rights.  The right to travel from place to place within our country is just such a right that should not be able to be controlled by anyone.  The truth of things is not a simple thing yet one truth is after 9/11 we were never going to allow any hijackers to take over a plane again, yet for our safety our ability to travel has been greatly reduced.  We are no safer and there are stories which show that.  We need airlines to work with states and the federal government to take a good look into the people that are getting onto a plane.  Without the worry of being called some name or another and being taken to court for it.  This is the information age and we need to use that to make us safe.  No airline or crew wants terrorists to be on the flight they are responsible for.  No passengers are going to let some self destructive people to take out a building.  There is a fast way to be sure no explosives are available to passengers. Detectors for them and agreements to wear what the airline has in the way of "Travel Clothes".  You go into an airport report to your gate and are given something to change into like a jump suit that identifies you and has safety features built into it.  No need for pat downs as you have nothing to look for.  There are many ways we could come together as a country and all of them should be open to us.  See me on Facebook at vjewin@aol.com
